The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society is located in the village of Put-in-Bay on South Bass Islands. The museum is west of the downtown waterfront park on Catawba Avenue. Located next to the police station and behind the Put-in-Bay Brewing Company and adjacent to the Put-in-Bay Town Hall parking lot.

Hours are subject to change without notice in the off-season.

Mid-May, June & September: Daily 11 am to 5 pm
July & August: 10 am to 6 pm
October: Weekends 11 am to 5 pm

Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children 12 years and older. Children 11 and younger are admitted free. Senior admission is $1.50. Or the Family Rate  for all is $5.


School groups are welcome with prior reservations only. Please call or email for details: 419-285-2804 or themuseum@leihs.org.
